Last Friday night, we brought The Bridal Night Market back to Calgary.
68 guests walked through the doors at Hudson by Oliver & Bonacini. Cocktails were poured, conversations flowed, and couples spent the evening connecting with a curated group of wedding professionals who showed up with intention.
Was it our biggest market? No.
Did it look like a convention centre packed with hundreds of booths? Also no.
And that's kind of the point.
The Bridal Night Market was never built to be a traditional bridal show. It was built for the couples who value conversation over collecting brochures, connection over crowds, and experiences over overwhelm.
As a founder, every market teaches me something.
Calgary reminded me that growth isn't always measured by attendance numbers. Sometimes it's measured by the vendor who books a client. The couple who says they finally found wedding planning enjoyable. The conversations that happen because the room isn't so crowded that nobody can hear each other speak.
Building something different means not everyone will understand it.
That's okay.
We're not trying to create the biggest wedding showcase in the country.
We're trying to create the most intentional one.
To every vendor, guest, partner, model, and supporter who spent their Friday night with us, thank you. Your belief in what we're building means more than you know.
Onward.
